JMIC stands for Joint Intermodal Modular container and was developed by the US Navy 20 years ago. It is made from airforce grade aluminum, practically indestructable Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and stainless steel locks and lifting ears from 1400 MPa stainless steel which has been scanned by ultrasound to exclude cracks. The device has airline track in the entire bottom and vertically along the cornerposts for maximum flexibility in securing sensitive goods. There are also airline track all along the outer edges. The module is defined by MIL-STD 3028 and is tested and approved for ammunition storage and transport, air transport and transport and use by any military purpose. It also fits well on 463 L air pallet as well as containers. You can lock two modules together when they are stacked with the built in lock and lift two devices fully loaded from the lifting points. The module can be flat packed and built up in minutes and it can even be stacked and locked together when flat packed. The device comes with a holder for RFiD. This version is painted tan.
